2021 Firebrand Award
(ICC) 2024 Build-a-Thon
DMC was awarded a Firebrand Award in 2021 by Inductive Automation. This award recognized one of DMC’s projects as one of the top Ignition projects of the year. For this project, DMC created a high-capacity, automated lab for COVID testing in just nine months in partnership with Ginkgo Bioworks.
In 2024, DMC went on to win the 2024 ICC Build-a-Thon at the Ignition Communition Conference (ICC). In the final round of competition, the team had just two days to program a complete Ignition application to control a convenience store that included a car wash, gas pump, and food market.
