My Summer Internship at DMC

My first day at DMC was the fastest paced first day at work I’ve ever had.  Within five minutes of entering the building, I was already being handed a project requiring the use of three technologies I’d never worked with before.  As he described the project, Ken’s enthusiasm was so contagious, I almost didn’t realize how unusual that is for a new employee.  With a little help from my coworkers, I was quickly making progress.  That first day set the precedence for the rest of the summer.  It was never boring. 

Each time I started a new project, doing things I’d never even thought about before, I couldn’t help but feel a little intimidated; but after completing a few projects my confidence grew.  Now, I feel like nothing is out of my reach, and I will definitely take that confidence boost with me wherever I go. 

Thanks DMC!  …for the experience and the good times.  I’ve enjoyed working with all of you and I’ll be sad to leave.
